Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson (born Kristen Noel Swanson) is an American actress who was famous in the role of Buffy Summers. Her other roles include: Rebecca Becky Granger, in the Telefilm Nightingales & the short lived NBC show with the same name; Erica Paget as Early Edition on CBS and Marlowe Viccellio as Psych. Swinson, a Californian nativeSwanson began acting at a very young age. She began working in the industry of advertising and appeared in numerous commercials. In 1984 she made her debut on the screen with an episode of NBC's sitcom It's Your Move. The following year, in the romantic comedy Pretty in Pink of 1986 She made her major-screen debut. Swan was known for her lisp of blonde and breathless voice. She's recently shifted between main characters and side ones. She was awarded her the Young Artist Award in 1989 for Best Young Actress in Horror or the Mystery Motion Picture for Flowers in the Attic.
