Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was 14 years old. She was a kickboxer, boxer as well as wrestling, before making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd then went on to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents had been defeated in the first five minutes. After that, she returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen in a unanimous vote. The loss put a mark on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from the loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her very first professional fight. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and won via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock out McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round later in the second. Ladd continued to dominate and picked up a more stunning victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and received a bonus for the performance of the evening. Her first major fight came in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both the fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and each fighter received their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in 16-seconds to break her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. As a replacement she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
