Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci was born on December 12, 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti), Romania. Nadia is the Romanian Olympic gymnast, and holds the record for being given 10/10 points during an Olympic event. Bela Karrolyi is an Romanian gymnastics instructor, who later became Comaneci's coach and first became aware of Comaneci when she was just six years old. First competing in the championships for juniors from Romania in 1969, she was 13th. Then in the year 1970, she was crowned champion. She took home three golds at her very first contest, a junior pre-Olympic meet in 1972, which was a communist countries. In 1973 and 1974, she was the junior champion in all-round competitions. She took home four gold medals and one silver in her debut competition as a senior which took place in the year 1975. It was the first time she participated as an adult. She was the first woman to complete a reverse double salo with the parallel bar that was uneven when she won the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her journey in the entertainment industry began during her teens when she started performing as a figure skater with her younger twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a United States citizen, born on the 6th of September 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. Carol began her career in entertainment when she was in her teenage years. At the age of 13 Carol was an ice figure skater on the show Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. It featured dramatic ice-skating shows.
